Sooo, this week’s homework was to shoot a ‘sexy vegetable’ or at least, an interesting one! For those of you with any knowledge of photographic history, you will of course be aware that this is not a new concept, and has been attempted by many noted photographers, Paul Strand and Edward Weston perhaps being the most obvious examples.

This type of photography is about abstraction- emphasising form and design. Recognising the sensual qualities of an object other than the human body. I certainly had fun with it!
