The beautiful soul that is Rachel has been a friend and Midwifery colleague for several years now. More recently she has become my Yoga instructor :) This talented lady is also an artist, and I see something in her chasing her dreams and happiness that resonates so profoundly within me. Live your life, go after what makes you happy, work from within and love yourself and others.
When someone is kind, positive and accepting it radiates from them, gorgeous inside and out is an apt description.
We met on a wintery July afternoon for a family photography session. After rescheduling several times due to bad weather, I thought we’d hit a winner but watched in dismay as the sunshine disappeared and storm clouds rolled in on my way to our location. My visions of a vibrant sunset went south but ultimately, I believe we got something far more special. This lovely family arrived all unfailingly cheerful (including Azalea who’d literally just woken up) and braved the elements alongside me with not a word of complaint. We trekked into the field I’d chosen amidst the drizzle and as the session unfolded I knew in my bones these images were going to be really special. The beautiful muted light and tones of the hills made possible by the overcast conditions created the perfect backdrop for this family. We chatted about Rachel and Ryan’s upcoming wedding and a variety of other topics at times, but mostly, I just stepped back and captured them and their love amongst the raindrops and clover. So beautiful.
Beautiful Michelle!
Thank you lovely :D
