I was so looking forward to Heather and Simon’s gorgeous wedding at The Currant Shed in McLaren Vale. Their engagement session had been so much fun! They are a delightful couple and their happiness and love for one another was so evident all day- I don’t think I saw them stop smiling.

We started the day with Heather and her family then jumped in the car and headed to The Currant Shed. This venue is absolutely lovely, the staff so friendly and the presentation and catering was fabulous. Following their ceremony, we drove a few minutes down the road to Shottesbrooke Winery, where they were able to have some time together, revelling in the moment and practising their first dance which was to “Here Comes The Sun” by The Beatles, one of my all-time faves. The gorgeous light that came out later as they danced at their reception was just perfect for such a song choice.
